"This piece features 10 characters speaking in different languages or dialects: Venetian, Bergamascan, Napolitan, Spanish, Milanese, Bolognese, Sicilian, Genoese, French, and a Gypsy Italian dialect. Four pairs of characters are talking to one another, while the gypsy character sings a lullaby, and the French (in a walloon dialect) sings a chanson.
