"An elegant setting of Jonson's poem. N.B. the source consists, in standard C18th practice, of two (keyboard) staves, the bass line figured, and with a separate (nowadays obsolete) transposing score for flute. In performance, this should be realised as violin or flute obligato, keyboard and optional Violoncello supporting the bass line.
