"This book contains falsobordoni for psalm recitation in all eight tones by Asola and Vincenzo Ruffo as well as hymn settings by Asola. The original printings do not specify which falsobordoni are by Asola and which are by Ruffo. This book was reprinted in 1582. In 1584 an expanded edition was issued, adding falsobordoni for litanies and removing mention of Ruffo. This second edition was reprinted in 1587 by both Giacomo Vincenti and the heirs of Simone Tini and in 1592 by Ricciardo Amadino."
