We stood with shepherds in the grassy field and tossed our twigs on their communal fire, exchanging stories as the midnight moon itself was lit by an angelic choir. 3. There was the journey through the distant hills, a rhythmic, mesmerizing camel ride, the star we learned to see through lidded eyes, our joy in kneeling by a baby's side. 4.
