"The Magnificat a cinque voci is a substantially different version of the more well-known Magnificat_(Francesco_Durante). Apart from the additional second soprano part, the instrumental parts are richer, contrapuctual textures have been tightened, and some movements have been replaced entirely. This version probably was composed in the latter part of Durante's life, and is in many ways reminiscent of the Magnificat_con_VV_%C3%A0_cinque_voci_(a_minor)_(Francesco_Durante), which was composed in 1752. Further dating of it is not possible at this time."
